Job Description:

As an HVAC Start-Up Apprentice, your primary role will involve:

Assisting our skilled technicians in performing control wiring, startup, and warranty work for various commercial mechanical equipment, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, and mini splits. From systems as small as 1.5 tons to as large as 100 tons.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

In this role, you’ll experience the dynamic world of commercial HVAC projects. This will involve:

· Climbing ladders and working on elevated surfaces to access equipment and wiring.

· Transporting tools, materials, and equipment to your designated work area.

· Embracing the elements year-round while adhering to strict safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

We’re seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

· Basic knowledge of refrigeration principles and control wiring techniques.

· Proficiency in using basic hand tools of the trade.

· 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in startup, control wiring, and basic diagnostics of Commercial HVAC systems; HVAC trade school graduates are also welcome.

· EPA refrigerant certification is a plus.
