Position Description

The position will have the responsibility of accomplishing performance, reliability, and/or agency testing on end products, sub-assemblies, and components in a design team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Assemble units, sub-assemblies, and components for testing
Instrument units, sub-assemblies and components for testing
Utilize in-house data acquisition systems for capturing data during test
Prepare test reports on in-progress and completed tests
Conduct testing as assigned by Lab Supervisor
Work with Engineers on various product qualification testing
Identify discrepancies relating to testing and/or laboratory equipment
Maintain acceptable lab appearance

Ability to follow written instructions to perform test
Able to move built-in refrigerators using appliance dolly

Category Specific Requirements

Refrigeration Products
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience with refrigeration products
Familiar with basic test instruments for testing refrigeration products
Basic soldering/brazing skills for refrigeration tubing
Basic understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
Prior experience on working in HVAC/refrigeration industry is preferred
