Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our 20,000 square foot commercial building in Dallas, TX. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the facility is clean, safe, operational, and well-maintained, addressing both preventative and corrective maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections of the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC, lighting, fire systems, and other building infrastructure
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
Oversee janitorial and landscaping contractors
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs
Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and order as necessary
Assist with minor renovations, furniture moves, and space reconfigurations

Requirements:
3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or building operations
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
Basic proficiency with maintenance tracking software or digital work order systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification a plus

Preferred Qualifications:
HVAC certification (EPA 608 or similar)
OSHA 10/30 certification
Experience in commercial or mixed-use buildings
